How to Watch New Sci-Fi Action Film The Tomorrow War in Australia

Chris Pratt returns to the big screen after Avengers: Endgame with the latest sci-fi adventure The Tomorrow War. Scheduled for a digital release today, it follows a group of soldiers deployed to fight in the future after an alien attack threatens to wipe out life on Earth.

After soldiers from the future announce that humanity is on the brink of extinction, members of the world’s military are sent 30 years in the future to fight. When most of them fail to defeat the alien invaders, known as the White Spikes, with only 20% surviving, a worldwide draft is initiated.

Biology teacher and Iraq war veteran Dan Forester, played by Chris Pratt, is one of the civilians who has been drafted. Failure to comply means his wife will be sent in his place. Being an ex-military, he is forced to confront his past while fighting a bigger war to save his family and the rest of the world.

The Tomorrow War is directed by Chris McKay (The Lego Batman Movie) in his live-action directorial debut with Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, J. K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, and Sam Richardson as the main cast.
