How To Watch/Stream Succession

Families are fun to watch. Especially when they are not your own. HBO’s Succession brings to life one of the most twisted set of family members on television. All members of the Roy family have only one agenda on their minds – overthrow the patriarch who controls the world’s most powerful media empire. But Logan Roy is in simply no mood to roll over into retirement, despite a succession plan in place.

This central tension makes for a delightful, soapy show with a brilliant set of actors. Brian Cox (The Slap) essays the acerbic patriarch, while Hiam Abbass (Munich) and Nicholas Braun (How To Be Single) portray members of the family.

Succession’s two seasons have won rave reviews and accolades.

How to Watch WandaVision Set to Premiere in 2021

A new era arrives.

After a bit of delay, Marvel’s WandaVision finally gets a premiere date on Disney+. This series is slated to be the first from Marvel Studios to launch on the streaming platform.

Taking place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, WandaVision will see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprising their roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision respectively. It all begins when Wanda and Vision find themselves living idealized suburban lives, but then starts to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Interestingly enough, WandaVision wasn’t supposed to be the first Marvel series scheduled to show on Disney Plus. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was scheduled ahead but had to be pushed back due to necessary reshoots. This bumps up WandaVision’s premiere schedule, following hot on the heels of The Mandalorian’s return for its second season.

The complete plotline for WandaVision remains unclear, leaving fans guessing what’s in store for this hotly anticipated show based on its trailer, which looked like an ode to popular 80s shows and sitcoms. Joining Olsen and Bettany is a cast that’s no stranger to the Avengers World. This includes Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, an FBI agent — better known as Scott Lang’s parole officer — who we first saw in 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. Teyonah Parris also comes back as Monica Rambeau, who we know as a young girl in the 90s-set Captain Marvel. Another exciting addition is Kat Dennings who plays Darcy Lewis — aka Darcy the intern — from Thor movies, the assistant to Natalie Portman’s character. A completely new addition to the world of Marvel is Kathryn Hahn, who’s said to be the nosy neighbor that fits in well with the sitcom-like setting of WandaVision.

Mark your calendars now, ladies and gents. Marvel’s WandaVision drops next year, January 15, only on Disney+.

Where to Watch or Stream WandaVision

To start watching WandaVision, you’ll simply have to subscribe to a Disney+ account. It’s important to note, however, that Disney Plus has stopped providing a 7-day free trial offer in Australia and in other countries where it’s live.

A subscription to Disney+ Australia costs $8.99/month. You also have the option of signing up for a whole year for only $89.99 and save $17. Both packages give you the exact same offering when it comes to content, devices, streaming quality, and a number of simultaneous streams. If you compare Disney+ to other Australian streaming providers, you’ll also find it to cost much less than the likes of Stan and Netflix.

How to Watch or Stream The Crown Season 4

Netflix’s royal hit series The Crown returns for its fourth season — aka the Princess Diana season! Joining Princess Diana is Margaret Thatcher, as well as major changes in the cast, which now sees the incredible Olivia Colman playing Her Majesty the Queen.

Now that we’re just days away from the long-awaited season 4, all eyes are on the plot ahead and how the new characters come into play. In this season, the show will cover the time period from 1977 to 1990. Not only will this season introduce Diana (soon-to-be princess) and Thatcher in her premiership, but viewers will also be treated to the royal grandchildren, Prince William and Prince Harry.

Given these characters and timeline, viewers can expect to see all of the biggest political drama from the Thatcher years to be covered, which will culminate in her ousting by her own Cabinet in 1990. Meanwhile, we will also watch how this series will depict Prince Charles’ courtship of then Lady Diana Spencer, their 1981 wedding (and her iconic dress!), as well as the deterioration of their marriage because of Charles’ devotion to one Camilla Parkwe Bowles. On the side, we’ll see the decline of Princess Anne’s first marriage and Princess Margaret’s mental health battles, all while both Princesses deal with feeling overshadowed by the rise in popularity of Princess Diana.

Sounds exciting enough? Set your alarms ‘cause all of the 10 episodes of The Crown season 4 will drop on Netflix this coming Sunday, November 15.

Where to Watch or Stream The Crown

There’s only one place where you can stream all of the past and upcoming new episodes of The Crown and that is on Netflix. To put it simply, you need to have an active Netflix subscription in order to be able to tune in to the premiere of season 4 and binge watch it whenever you please.

Plans for Netflix in Australia begins at $10.99 per month for the entry-level plan, but subscribing to the $15.99/month will give you high definition streaming. If you’re looking for the best all-in deal, however, the $19.99/month is where it’s at — giving you up to 4K resolution and 4 simultaneous streams, and offline download capabilities.
