BINGE further expands its catalogue of comedy shows with the breakout comedy Dave, a series created by Jeff Schaffer and rapper Lil Dicky, where he portrays a fictionalised version of himself.

It tells the story of the title character, a neurotic man in his late 20s, and how sure he is that he’ll make it big as a rapper. He is convinced he’s got what it takes to be one of the best rappers of all time, to be exact. But before he can impress the world with his talent, he needs to persuade his friends first.

Dave combines humor, great character development, and even emotional depth that improved as the show went along. Of course, its entertainment factor alone is enough to satisfy Lil Dicky fans. Dave also features several celebrity cameos and guest appearances with the likes of Macklemore, Justin Bieber, and Kourtney Kardashian during the first season.

The good news is that Dave returns for a second season, premiering on 17 June 2021 on BINGE. This time, he’s starting to make things happen as he is set to record his debut album, but stardom is not as fun as what it’s made to be.
