The Parramatta Eels are coming off one of the best seasons in recent memory. The third place finish in a COVID-affected premiership must have filled the fans with pride and hope.
The Eels are now looking to consolidate on their good form and stay consistent. Maybe even a run to the Grand Final is not beyond their reach. The club will vertically want to make their fans proud again.
It may have come as a surprise to many when 17 of the 30 team members were shown the exit door. But this could have a positive effect on this season’s team. There is a lot resting on Isaiah Papali’I. He will be ably supported by back rower Bryce Cartwright.
Coach Brad Arthur will certainly be looking forward to a season with new players and fresh talent. They may very well end up in the Finals, which will not be a surprise at all.
