There is a sense of irony between the name of the club and their performances so far. Twice in the league they have finished with the wooden spoon. They have also never won the Grand Final or the minor premiership.
The Titans may not be consistent performers, but they did have a decent 2020 season. The challenge now is to build on this and try to reach as high as they can. Fans will be praying that the team does not regress and finish lower.
The good news is Justin Holbrook is taking the club in the right direction. Ever since he was appointed las season, things have improved drastically. Their play has become more intense, and the strategies much better.
To build on the team’s momentum, new players have been signed to take the club forward. David Fifita, Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and Herman Ese’ese. The heavy recruitment has sent the right signal to the competition.
