The annual Click Frenzy sales are the best time to grab huge discounts that only last a few days – and Telstra has come up with some massive bargains for the occasion, all of them only available for a week. For anyone who’s been looking to get connected with Telstra’s vast 5G and 4G mobile networks with their unbeatable Australia-wide coverage, now’s the best time to do it.
Heading up the discounts is the Medium SIM-only mobile plan, which comes with a very healthy 80 GB per month data allowance, as well as full access to Telstra’s 5G network. It scores a $10/month discount for the first 12 months, taking the price to only $55/month – the same price as the Small plan, which comes with half the data and no 5G access. With Telstra’s extensive mobile network coverage delivering fast 4G almost everywhere and even faster 5G in an increasing number of locations, the Medium plan has always been a good balance between price and data allowance – but with this discount it’s a bargain. The offer is available until Sunday November 16th and is for new services only – a great time to port an existing service over to Telstra.
Those needing even more data haven’t been left out, though – and with so many people working from home, an increased data allowance can be essential for everything from Zoom meetings to uploading and downloading work files. Telstra’s Extra Large mobile plan covers high-data-use tasks like those easily with its 180 GB monthly data allowance, and until November 16th, it’s discounted to only $65/month for 12 months – a saving of $50 per month off the regular price of the plan. This is one for big-data users to jump on, since it means a saving of $600 over the course of the year.
In the mobile broadband department, Telstra has some limited-time Frenzy offers as well. The big bargain is the $15/month mobile broadband plan with 20 GB of data per month for 12 months. A perfect plan for tablet and laptop users, it can also be used as low-cost basic home broadband with the range of 4G and 5G mobile broadband devices that Telstra sells. Again, this one ends on 16th November.
And for those who want to use their mobile broadband as a true high-data replacement for an NBN service, Telstra has recently doubled the data allowance on their Large mobile broadband plan, taking it to 200 GB per month for $75, paid month to month and with all the usual Telstra perks included (such as free sports streaming).
It’s rare for Telstra to offer discounts as deep as these, so if you’ve been thinking of a switch to Telstra for your phone or mobile broadband, now’s the time to do it.
