Stan Sport Secures Exclusive Broadcast Rights for UEFA Champions League

2021 is a big year for Stan. Early this year, the streaming service joined the sports streaming niche with the launch of Stan Sport, coinciding with the Super Rugby AU season. Today, Stan announced a new partnership with the Union of European Football Associations, significantly expanding its sports offerings.

Every UEFA Champions League match starting 12 August 2021 will be broadcast by Stan Sport, kicking off with the 2021-22 UEFA Super Cup match between Chelsea and Villarreal, winners of the previous season’s UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. Stan’s broadcast time will be announced soon.

Prior to this, Stan Sport is already the go-to for diehard rugby union fans, offering every match of the Super Rugby AU, Super Rugby Aotearoa, Trans-Tasman tournament, and so many more. Wimbledon and Roland Garros tournaments also stream on Stan Sport, ad-free, live, and on-demand.

Stan’s new multi-year deal with UEFA finds the Australian streaming service locking down broadcast rights for every match of the UEFA Champions League for the next three seasons. Stan Sport users will also be able to stream every match of Europa League, Europa Conference League, Youth League, and the UEFA Super Cup.

How to watch UEFA Champions League in Australia?

To stream every match of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, and UEFA Youth League, football fans can sign up to Stan Sport. You will need to have a base Stan subscription in order to add the sports package.

Stan’s streaming plans start with Basic ($10/month), Standard ($14/month), and Premium ($19/month), all of which give you access to thousands of movies and shows. Stan Sport is another $10 per month on top of your base subscription, with a 7-day free trial for new and existing Stan subscribers.

Netflix Announces Sex Education Season 3 Premiere

Otis and the fun gang that is Sex Education will return for more shenanigans when Season 3 premieres in September. Fans saw a huge victory with Eric and Adam finally confessing their feelings for each other during last season’s finale and it looks like things between these two will be official once the show returns.

But there’s still a lot to tie up from the previous season, including the possibility of Otis and Maeve getting together. Otis professed his love for Maeve over voicemail but Isaac was being uncool because he totally deleted said message. Jean’s pregnancy was also a shocking way to end that season because she had just broken up with Jakob, who also had a vasectomy. Talk about complicated.

Fortunately, Season 3 will happen soon. Joining the cast is Jason Isaacs as Peter Groff, Mr. Groff’s older brother, Dua Saleh playing a nonbinary student at Moordale, and Indra Ové as Elsie’s foster mother Anna. Don’t miss this new season of Sex Education coming to your screens in September!

How to watch Sex Education Season 3 in Australia?

In Australia, Sex Education Season 3 premieres on Friday, September 17 on Netflix. Just like the first and the second season, Sex Education Season 3 will also consist of eight episodes with the main cast like Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, and Gillian Anderson reprising their characters.

If you’re a Telstra customer, you can easily add Netflix to your account for the same monthly plan fee. This also gives you the convenience of paying for your internet and streaming subscriptions without the hassles of separate bills.
