The Outsider is the latest spook fest from Stephen King to creep onto your telly. And fans of the of the horror author will not be disappointed one bit. HBO has adapted the story of an ancient shapeshifter who takes on the identity of a person and then murders a child.
A local teacher is the first suspect of murdering a local boy. When the authorities receive footage of the teacher being present elsewhere, the detectives are thrown into a tailspin of suspicion and intrigue.
If the premise of the show does not scare you, watching the first episode certainly will. The first season features a stellar cast of Jason Bateman (Arrested Development), Yul Vazquez (Midnight, Texas), Cynthia Erivo (Widows) and Jeremy Bobb (Jessica Jones).
