The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown Launches on Amazon Prime this July

The iconic adventure trio that is Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May is returning for The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown episode this month. Travel restrictions and production challenges had made them abandon their original plan to film in Russia. Since Scotland is just as breathtaking, there’s no better place for the co-hosts to quench their thirst for adventure than on their home turf.

This time, they take on the Highlands with their usual propensity for wild drives, action-packed challenges, and hilarious antics. This special will give an American road trip vibe without the co-hosts leaving their country by driving classic ’70s American cars. The episode also aims to discover why these classic US cars, which dominated television decades ago, didn’t take off in Britain. We’ll even see the trio in their back-to-basics selves with the lockdown restricting services and establishments.

The Grand Tour Presents: will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime this July. It is the third episode of The Grand Tour’s current Season 4, following “Seamen” and “The Massive Hunt”.

How to watch The Grand Tour Presents:  in Australia?

In Australia, The Grand Tour Presents: will be launched on Amazon Prime starting 30 July. You can also stream seasons 1-3 and the earlier episodes of Season 4 on-demand with an Amazon Prime subscription. New customers can test run the streaming service with a 30-day free trial, giving you access to over 2,000 of Amazon Prime’s library of shows, movies, and more.

Will Brisbane Host the 2032 Olympic Games? Find Out Tonight

Brisbane will find out today if it has succeeded in securing the bid to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic games. The decision will come from the International Olympic Committee (IOC). If successful, it will be the third time that Australia has hosted an Olympic game with Melbourne the first Australian city to do so in 1956, and then Sydney in 2000.

Delivering the final pitch in Tokyo is Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk. The decision will be announced in front of the IOC soon. To keep you in the loop, here’s everything you need to know about Brisbane’s bid and the much-awaited announcement.

Who else is bidding?

Early this year, the IOC named Brisbane as its preferred bidder. However, that doesn’t things just yet. Cities in India, Indonesia, Qatar, Spain, and a region of Germany also expressed interest but their bids didn’t make the IOC board approval stage. That’s why even though it’s not final yet, it is anticipated that Brisbane will be given the hosting rights unopposed.

When will be the announcement

The procedure involves members of the IOC listening to a 45-minute pitch from Australian officials, including Prime Minister Scott Morrison. After the pitch, delegates will vote between 6:10 pm and 6:30 pm AEST with the announcement expected to be delivered at 6:30 pm.

Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town Follows the West Tigers in Fox Sports Docu-Series

The West Tigers will be the first NRL club to give rugby league fans an in-depth look at what goes on behind every match in the upcoming documentary series, Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town. A Fox Sports Original Production, it follows the Tigers players, coach Michael Maguire, and off-field staff during the 2021 NRL season. It will be available to watch on Foxtel and stream on Kayo starting July 19.

What can you expect from Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town?

This year’s NRL is a bumpy one and the West Tigers are feeling the wrath of a turbulent season as they face the uphill battle to move ahead and out of the bottom four. Each episode is filmed over a period of three or four games, capturing intense and shocking behind-the-scenes any rugby fans would want to see.

“This documentary is not stage managed. Our cameras have been left to roll and in doing so we have captured some of the most raw, private and inner sanctum insights that occur inside a professional sporting club,” Fox Sports executive director Steve Crawley said.

While there are only a few days left before the premiere of the first episode on July 19, filming for the final episodes of Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town is still ongoing and will continue through to the end of the season. It will be an honest and tumultuous journey that viewers will get to experience, something that Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe (who also appears in the series) hopes will bring the team closer to the fans.

How to watch Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town in Australia?

Fox Sports’ docu-series will air on Fox League and will also be available via FOX8 on Foxtel and the streaming service Kayo. FOX8 is part of the base Foxtel Plus bundle, while Fox League is part of the Sports HD package. It also includes over 50 other entertainment, news, and lifestyle channels. Kayo, meanwhile, offers a 14-day free trial to new customers, giving you access to over 50 sports live and on-demand.

What time does Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town start?
