New Anthology Series 'The Premise' is Coming to BINGE in September

B.J. Novak (The Office) offers a new anthology series, The Premise, which is set to premiere this month in Australia exclusively on BINGE. The half-hour anthology comes from executive producers Novak and Josh Lesher. The first season will have five episodes: “Social Justice Sex Tape,” “Moment of Silence,” “The Ballad of Jesse Wheeler,” “The Commenter”, and “Butt Plug”. The initial instalment of the series will explore timely and relevant topics like police brutality, social justice, gun violence, social media, and more.

The Premise’s objective is to cover timeless moral questions during unprecedented times by taking progressive and bold concepts, all of which viewers will see manifesting in every episode of the show. Other pressing topics like identity, sex, revenge, fame, and capitalism will also be explored through character-driven stories.

The Premise stars Lucas Hedges, Kaitlyn Dever, Jon Bernthal, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ed Asner, George Wallace, Boyd Holbrook and Beau Bridges. Joining them are Ben Platt, Tracee Ellis Ross, Daniel Dae Kim, Lola Kirke, Soko, Jermaine Fowler, Ayo Edebiri and Eric Lange.
